My Shuffled Playlist
So to work on this post, I need my iPod, a device I've had longer than any of my current devices, and a list of songs I've had since Jr. High. I got my first iPod as a senior in high school after they had been out for a few years. They had already come out with the first Nano but I got the big 64GB one. I filled it with songs from the cds I'd been keeping since I was about 10 years old. I remember it took weeks of loading each individual cd, selecting the songs I wanted from it, and waiting for it to download into iTunes. I have 1,830 songs on it now including some stories from a radio series that used to play back in the 80s. I gotta figure out a way to wrestle the iPod from the toddler before I can do this. She found it and now it's her favorite thing in the world.

As it turns out, I have a lot of weird songs and some good ones that I just had to listen to all the way through. Also, since I am sitting here on the floor next to my baby's bed, I think I may have found the secret to getting her to sleep fast. I let the first song play all the way through and before it was over she was asleep.
Before I started writing this, I must admit, that I was in a terrible mood. It is only Monday and I am already exhausted. But now I feel much better.
