Bullet Journal: My Day

Day 15 of the 30 day writer's challenge.  I've heard a lot about these bullet journals.  They are all color coordinated and pretty and super simply organized.  For those of you who know me you know that I LOVE stuff like this.  Planners, calendars, electronic and paper. I get all star eyed and tunnel visioned.  So here is my bullet journal edition of today's schedule:

7:00am alarm goes off.  Hit snooze

7:15am.... hit snooze

7:30am... hit snooze but stay awake to browse social media since a bunch has happened since 1:30am when I last checked it.

7:45 am.. darn it I have to get up now.  Go to the kitchen and warm up water for my warm drink.  Start toasting bread and putting cheerios into baggies.

8:00am... Ursa calls out.  I go to her but she is still sleeping.  I get her partially dressed.

8:15am finishing up in the kitchen.  Get myself dressed. Ursa wakes up and I sit her on the potty.  She is now dressed.  It is too early to leave but too late to sit and eat breakfast.  Sit Ursa on the couch and put in Lorax. Give her warm milk to drink.

8:30am get shoes on, say goodbye to hubby and leave for work.

9:00am clock into work.  Spend work shift browsing, Pinterest, instagram, and amazon after I have vacuumed and turned on all the lights and tv and stuff.

10:40am clock out.  Sit Ursa on the potty and leave for home.  No matter how many cheerios I chuck at her and how many times I tap her foot and call her name Ursa falls asleep in the car.

11:15am park car at home.  Carry Ursa upstairs and sit her up on the couch.  She is sleeping like a rock.  I consider taking her to our bed and napping too but hunger overtakes me and I cook lunch. I eat lunch, clean up the kitchen and fold a load of laundry while Ursa sleeps on the couch.

1:30pm Ursa wakes up.  I sit her on the potty and I give her lunch.

2:00pm... boss texts me and asks what time I am planning on going in to work. (Even though I am on the schedule to work at 2:30pm)

2:10pm text hubby to make sure he will be home in time for me to get to work on time.  Start getting ready for work.

2:22pm hubby comes home and I make hot chocolate to go.

2:28pm say goodbye and rush out the door.

2:32pm arrive at work.  Start working right away on a project that is usually my job, but boss gave it to somebody else this time but is now asking me to finish it.  Seriously, can my job just stay my job please?

8:10pm clock out at work.  I'm the last one to leave because of this project that all the sudden needs to be finished today.  Also the other "hotshot" can't figure out how to clear a paper jam.  The same stupid hotshot who was offered a $96,000 scholarship can't figure out how to clear a paperjam.  Ugh.  So if weirdo boss would have just let me do my job, it would have been done last week and I wouldn't have to be scrambling and rushing to get it all done today.

9:15pm sit down for dinner.  Finally get to rest and visit with hubby after a long day.

10:10pm try to get Ursa down.

10:58pm still trying to get Ursa down while writing this post.  Have to stop every 2 minutes to blow nose because it keeps running for no reason.

11:00pm.  Done with this prompt but still stuck sitting by Ursa's bed even though the kitchen is still a mess and I'm still in my work clothes and I need to blow my stupid nose again.

11:02pm.  Falling asleep sitting up next to Ursa's bed.  Is she asleep yet? Now is that crucial moment where I can either get up and go do my kitchen stuff and she is asleep for the night, or I get up and she will see me leave and we have to start all over again.

11:05pm I think it might be safe now.

11:07pm finally I can get up.  I think.

Hope you enjoyed a look into my day today in bullet form.  It's been a long day and  I still have to clean the kitchen.  Be sure to do all that stuff that us social media whores beg you to do after every post.  It takes so much energy to do that every time Its ridiculous.  But seriously though, you should do all that stuff because I'm trying to grow my following so I can buy car insurance.  Help a new blogger out.

It's 11:16pm. I'm still sitting by Ursa's bed.  But I can now hear both her and hubby snoring.  Publishing now.  Then going to clean the kitchen.

Good night everybody.  Or good night to just me.
