I am so excited!!!!

Today is my husband's 40th birthday.  Well it was since with all the festivities I am just getting to this now 15 minutes after midnight.  This year marks a lot of big milestones for our family.  They all started with the hubby turning 40 today.  

As some of you may know my husband is 10 years older than me.  10 years and 6 months to be exact.  So while he has reached his 40 yr mark, I don't reach my 30 yr mark until July.  This means that for the next 6 months I get to be that trophy wife still in her 20s while her husband is in his 40s.  We will be the envy of all our married friends whose spouses are just a couple years apart if not exactly the same age.  

Another thing that is exciting is that exactly 12 hours from now, I will be sitting in Sunday school with no baby to entertain.  Why?  Because she is now 18 months and can go to nursery.  Yay! She will have so much more fun in there than in my class and now I can scroll through Facebook and play Toy Blast in peace. - I mean... um... pay my full and undivided attention to the lesson.  

So far, aside from the fact that I spent our last few pennies on ingredients for today's birthday dessert pizza, this year is looking like it's gonna be a great year.   If you read yesterday's post, I'm not kidding about that dining room table.  We owe a lot of people money.
